Description
Our VW T5 and T6 double seat sliding swivel base is designed to fit VW T5 to T6.1 vans with a factory-fitted double passenger seat. We designed it to meet all safety standards while keeping operation very easy: simply unscrew 5 locking bolts and slide the seat back, which allows free seat rotation without any of the complicated sequences found in other brands.
The seat can be repositioned back, used in the living area when cooking, or simply faced out through the side sliding door.
Main construction is precision laser-cut 4mm steel with high tensile steel bolts and a heavy duty sliding mechanism. All metal parts are powder coated in black to match the existing seat base. Completely silent while on the move, and supplied with all necessary fixings in the box.
Each swivel supplied or installed comes with a hard copy of the test report issued by the UK Vehicle Certification Agency (VCA).
Please note: it is NOT suitable for seats with an integrated airbag inside the backrest, or for seats with inbuilt occupancy sensors.
To prevent damage to the sliding construction, the seat may only be used extended on a solid surface floor. We recommend 9-12mm plywood with vinyl or rubber flooring.
